Woolwich Works, a multi-disciplinary Arts Centre that opened on the Arsenal in 2021, is looking for Front of House volunteers. As a volunteer, you will welcome our visitors to site and help them find their way around. A more detailed list of responsibilities can be found here:

- To welcome visitors with a friendly manner, supporting and guiding them around the venue and ensuring they feel comfortable.

- To engage with visitors about the venue and different programming it has on offer.

- To take feedback from our visitors and share this with the Duty Manager, to help us achieve only the highest standards.

- To be in attendance for event briefings and debriefs, as this is where essential information for the event is communicated.

- To participate in fire evacuations and other general emergency procedures; also to carry out safety checks. To generally ensure that visitors are safe throughout their visit/performance.

- To ensure all tickets are checked and valid.

- To report any behaviour that is not permitted on-site to the Duty Manager: examples can include unsolicited photography.

Essential to volunteering at Woolwich Works is a positive and friendly demeanour and the ability to engage with different people. You will need to be a team player and a lover of the Arts.

We require you to work a minimum of 1 shift per month, but would encourage you to work much more. We have an abundance of activity at different times throughout the week.

We cannot guarantee that we would be able to give you access to this, although you can ask during onboarding.
