That an initial amount of £3,000, pending further information requested, be awarded from the Paignton allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to People’s Parkfield CIC for the original assessment to be completed for landscape improvements at Parkfield, Colin Road, Paignton.

The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 11 October 2023 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.

An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.
Implementation:
This decision will come into force with effect from 11 October 2023.

Determination of an application that sought £25,000 from the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund (neighbourhood proportion), for landscape improvements at Parkfield, Colin Road, Paignton. The application was submitted by the People’s Parkfield CIC.
The CiL Spend Panel met on 11 October 2023 and recommended that the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Change approve the application.
