That the amount of £25,000 be awarded from the Paignton allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to Paignton Town and Preston Community Partnership for the purchase, installation and serving of a permanent lighting system within key areas of Paignton.

The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 11 October 2023 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.

An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.

This decision will come into force with effect from 11 October 2023.

Determination of an application that sought £25,000 from the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund (neighbourhood proportion), for purchasing, installing and servicing a permanent lighting system within key areas of Paignton. The application was submitted by the Paignton Town and Preston Community Partnership.
