Places for Everyone Joint Development Plan Document
With effect from 21 March 2024 Places for Everyone, which is a long-term strategic plan for nine Greater Manchester boroughs, is a part of Tameside’s statutory Development Plan. The plan has been adopted by all nine districts (Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Manchester, Salford, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan).
The relevant adoption documents can be viewed below:

- The Integrated Assessment (incorporating sustainability appraisal)
- The Integrated Assessment (incorporating sustainability appraisal) adoption statement (as required by regulation 16 of the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004)
Where can I view the Adoption Documents?
The documents will be available to view online at the Tameside locations and times set out in the table below, on the Greater Manchester Combined Authority website: https://www.greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk/what-we-do/planning-and-housing/places-for-everyone/adoption and at locations in the other eight PfE authorities (for details please see the adoption statements issued by those authorities).
