Our endoscopy service has high numbers of patients cancelling, or not turning up to their endoscopy appointments. We want to understand this problem better so we can try and improve our service. This is vital in order to improve the health of our community. We want our patients to spend less time waiting for endoscopy appointments, and save the NHS valuable resources (each missed appointment costs us £350).
We don’t expect you to have heard of endoscopy before. The survey includes information on what endoscopy is and why it is used, then asks you some questions that will take about 5 minutes to complete.
