Portfolio Support Scheme

The Royal Drawing School is committed to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion across all of our programmes. The Drawing Year aims to attract applicants from varied backgrounds, creating an inclusive community for all.

The Portfolio Support Scheme is currently closed to applications.

Portfolio Support Scheme

The Portfolio Support Scheme is designed to provide Drawing Year applicants from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to discuss their work with a Royal Drawing School tutor prior to submitting their final application.

Eligible applicants who are offered a place on the Portfolio Support Scheme will benefit from a one-to-one Portfolio Review Session. This session will give applicants the chance to talk through their portfolio and receive guidance and support on how best to prepare their work, ahead of submitting an application. Should an applicant then be invited to interview for The Drawing Year, a further support session can be arranged in advance of the interview.

*Please note that applicants who are accepted on to the Portfolio Support Scheme will not necessarily be offered a place on The Drawing Year.
