Technical update for Non-Executive Directors and Audit Committee members - Guernsey

We were delighted to host our next Channel Islands event for Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) held on 16 January 2024. The event is our flagship PwC technical update event for NEDs looking to keep-up-to date on the latest hot topics in corporate reporting before the 2023/ 2024 financial reporting season kicks off, including focussed, tailored sessions held by subject matter experts from PwC UK. It also was an excellent opportunity to network and collaborate with other members of the NED community.

PwC UK's Corporate Governance specialist, John Patterson, was joined by our panel guests Clare Chalmers, Andreas Tautscher and Wendy Dorey who shared their views and insights; discussing the current Corporate Governance landscape, emerging themes, future developments and the challenges faced by Boards in the current environment.

The overview of technical accounting developments was led by PwC UK’s technical director Arran Jones.
