    During these unprecedented times, the helpline opening hours are changing to Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm.
  • As you may be aware, the NHS have asked private hospitals to provide additional resources during the battle with the Coronavirus, and we appreciate that this may mean you are temporarily unable to access the full benefits of the Scheme.

    Despite this, we are still able to authorise for you to see a consultant, although this may be held via a telephone or video call. There are also a number of other benefits available to you including out-patient services such as physiotherapy, mind therapy and the 24/7 GP Service. Elective treatment is being scheduled in for future dates, but authorisation for such treatment will remain open if it has to be delayed by the hospital.

    We are committed to ensuring that all valid claims are met as soon as practically possible, once our hospital providers return to treating private clients. We will therefore continue to collect member subscriptions to pay any new claims that arise, or any claims delayed because of the current situation. If claims are lower than we expect at the end of the year, then any savings in claims costs will be reflected in next year’s price.
