Park in carpark on the lane and walk up the tree lined path.
Towards the main door you'll see table top tombs on your right. On entry, head across the nave to get a good view off the sanctuary, reredos and east window. head west, though, to see the two ancient chests. Then walk east towards the altar, noting the linen fold pews ends and the large stained glass window on your right. Go up the step into the chancel, noting more windows before stopping at the altar step to take in the rather unusual and colourful reredos.
From here head right into the vestry, but on the wall there's an original WW1 grave marker (the stone monument on the sanctuary wall is grander but much less emotive). In the vestry you can use the loo!
Heading towards the back of the church go straight ahead into the bell tower - some interesting notices here. Then go out of the church, walking round to your left to find four large columns, the remains of a mausoleum now owned by the Monuments and Mausolea trust, The roof fell in in the early 20th century and is in labelled pieces behind it. Keep heading left to see more table top tombs before returning to the gate.
