AIM Secure considers your whole meetings and events offering and is only awarded to those who can verify they are following the stringent protocols set out by the standard.
How to become AIM Secure accredited
At the initial stages, AIM Secure is a self-assessment process. To attain the new standard you will need to achieve at least 60% of the criteria included in the self-assessment questionnaire – there are some mandatory elements included.
- Complete the online self-assessment form and submit it to our reviewers
- Build your portfolio of evidence using our handy 'how-to guide'
- Tick the 'I agree to an inspection' box
- Our reviewers will be in touch to let you know if you have been successful
AIM Secure is renewable annually and at any time during the 12 months you could be asked to allow our independent assessors to visit to review your venue and portfolio of evidence.
Once achieved, you can use the AIM Secure brand in all of your promotional materials. We also recommend that you update all of your online listings to showcase your achievement and commitment to offering a first-class service safely and responsibly for the health of staff and customers.
