Did you know that 7 out of 10 people told us they feel overwhelmed by the demands of managing their diabetes? Or that poor emotional and psychological wellbeing is associated with poorer quality of life, poorer management of diabetes and an estimated 50% increase in healthcare costs? Our free online Emotional Wellbeing CPD module, tailored for non-specialist primary care roles but suitable for anyone wanting to gain confidence in this area, has been tested and approved by people with diabetes, just 25% of whom told us they felt they got enough support for their emotional needs. This is a great way to build your confidence in broaching the topic of emotional wellbeing, feeling able to signpost to appropriate services and of course, making sure your own emotional wellbeing is looked after. This #WorldWellbeingWeek do something for you, and your patients with diabetes, and take our free Emotional Wellbeing course - it takes around 90 minutes and you can do it on your computer, or from a mobile or tablet: http://orlo.uk/2EUaD Thanks so much to the kind support of Eli Lilly and Company , Boehringer Ingelheim and Abbott for making this possible.
