Fantastic to have presented at The Primary Care show today in Birmingham to talk all about the Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB) diabetes standard and how #DigiBete have been exploring ways to adopt the standard to support better standards of care. Standardising and sharing data can have a huge impact in joining up siloed data for patient and clinician benefit but these systems must coproduced with clear consent 👌

Really great to share the brilliant work Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB) has been doing in general practice activity data standardisation on behalf of the NHSE primary and community transformation and improvement team at the primary care show. Hearing from managers in different areas of the country about their own journeys in better understanding activity in their organisations underpins how valuable this work is.

The NHS Health Check is a free check-up of our overall health. It can detect higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease and stroke. Having accurate and accessible data is essential for effective clinical decision-making and the evaluation of the programme. Currently, variations in clinical templates used across different regions have led to inconsistencies in data recording.
