Hi! I'm Gilbert. I have worked in wine throughout my career, for a long time in France and Italy, and briefly in South Africa. I hold Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 4 Diploma. I am an Approved Rhone Wine Educator, a member of the Association of Wine Educators, the Circle of Wine Writers, and a judge on the International Wine Challenge.
Since returning to England, I have spent time educating people on wine.
With my relaxed, humorous style, I can make wine accessible and enjoyable.
My main goal is to pull down the barriers to the traditional wine world and share my passion and knowledge with like-minds.
Whether you are a at the beginning of your wine journey, or a long-standing wine buff, our events are there for anyone who wants to learn about wine in a fun way.
