In December 2023 I had the fortune to win the Warley Woods Pacers Ballot Place for this years London Marathon. I am being ably assisted by Peter, my son who has supported my training and will be running alongside as my guide runner on the day. The training has been a steep learning curve and stretching of my abilities. There have been ups and downs to staying in good shape and overcoming injury. It's an honour and a pleasure to be representing the club and a great opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause.
