Story

On May 7th 2015 a beautiful baby boy, Lucas Alexander arrived 16 weeks early weighing 1lb 6oz.

Family & friends had an amazing 19 days with him in Liverpool Women's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Lucas from the moment that he joined us was full of life and a real wriggler. He made a name for himself amongst the nurses and all who were privileged to have met him.The Liverpool Womens Charity help to support and provide a home away from home for families so that they can stay close to their sick babies. They also help to fund life saving equipment.

To raise awareness of child loss and to honour Lucas with other angels I have entered a number of challenges this year! So far…

London Marathon - 21st April 2024 (26.2mile ‘run’)

IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton - 30th June 2024 (1.2mile swim, 56mile bike and 13.1mile run)

Others to follow…

HYROX Birmingham (an insane endurance and strength event)

I would love to honour angels that you may have lost & will print the names of any angels on my running shirt along side Lucas’. If you would like an angel name printing on my shirt then please drop me a message (and maybe a small charitable donation 😉) and they will come round London & Bolton with me!
