I am an advanced paediatric nurse practitioner with a specialist interest in young people's mental health. We introduced mental health first aid packs in our department last year which have been well received by young people in mental health crisis. These packs can offer some emotional regulation for young people in times of mental distress.

I am running the great north run this year to provide funds to help sustain the ongoing resources provided within the mental health first aid packs and would be grateful for any donations that anyone can spare.
