I have decided to do a 24 hour sponsored silence this will be to raise funds towards a Christmas star at Doncaster Royal infirmary in memory of our Little Pidge As most of you are aware a star was sponsored in 2020 after fundraising, but unfortunately it stopped there….. those that know me know how gobby I am and how I chew everybody’s ears off so this is a HUGE challenge for me but it’s in memory of my little sis and I’d do anything, absolutely anything for her so watch this space for sponsor info and the day in which will be a peaceful day for others

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity is the official charity which supports Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital to go above and beyond by providing additional equipment, services and amenities for our patients, visitors and staff which cannot be funded by the NHS alone.Throughout the last two years, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, schools, community groups and individuals across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw our hospitals have sparkled their way through the festive season by placing star lights on our buildings raising an incredible £60,000 in the process for Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity.Our Shining Stars helps to bring some much-needed festive cheer to patients, staff, and visitors of our hospitals whilst also helping us recognise our shining stars, whilst remembering those who are no longer with us.
