Hello everyone,

I’m going to be running the London Marathon on 23rd April 2023 to raise money for The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity.

Running the marathon has always been a dream of mine, 26.2 miles will be a massive challenge for me and I’m so happy to be raising money for an amazing charity. I’ll be training lots over the next few months so follow along on my strava if you can! Thank you so so much in advance for any donations- it means a lot to me and will get me through all my long runs and on the big day.

Throughout my life, the NHS have supported people I love when they have needed it and this is why I want to give back. Through fundraising the Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity is able to fund projects that touch the lives of thousands of people cared for each year.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity supports patients and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. The charity provides support that is beyond the scope of the NHS, for example purchasing special equipment, improving facilities and investing in vital research. Enabling the purchase of specialist equipment and staff training makes a real difference to the care and treatment available for patients.
