For several years now Alex has passionately raised funds in support of QE Charitable Funds Gateshead.

The Chemotherapy Day Unit is a unit staffed by specialist chemotherapy nurses. As well as administering chemotherapy, the nurses provide advice and support to patients on the different steps of their treatment journey.

The money raised is used to help improve the care our future patients receive and is also used to improve the environment for staff, patients and their relatives. It enables us to provide a more welcoming, comfortable space, in addition to the latest technology modern medicine has to offer.

Thanks to people like Alex, we can enhance the care we provide for our patients in Gateshead.
