Approved suppliers - Community Pharmacists, Pharmacists in GP and Health and Justice Pharmacists
This IP training is fully funded by the Pharmacy Integration Programme for pharmacists who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Community pharmacists (including locum pharmacists)
- Pharmacists employed in General Practice (who are not eligible for, or enrolled on, the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway) and those who are working to provide primary care services (e.g. working in primary care) who are not employed in ARRS roles
- Health and Justice pharmacists
National Provision
Pharmacists who meet the eligibility criteria can apply to one of the universities listed below. Cohort start dates and mode of delivery vary, so select the university that matches your preferences from the list below. You need to apply directly to your chosen university: click on the links to find out more. As part of the application process, all learners will need to assure their chosen university that they meet the course requirements.

Funding
Independent Prescribing (IP) training is available to pharmacists who meet the eligibility criteria and is fully funded by Health Education England (HEE).
HEE will only fund the course fees for eligible pharmacists at the universities outlined on our website. These providers were selected through a competitive tendering process.
