Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence

VAWDASV encompasses violence against women and girls, domestic abuse and sexual violence, including sexual exploitation, female genital mutilation, so-called ‘honour’ based abuse, and coercive control. All forms of VAWDASV are fundamental breaches of human rights committed against women, men and children. Every year lives are damaged needlessly, all forms of violence and abuse are unacceptable and require an effective and timely response from all public services.
