Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) and Traffic Schemes

 A Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is required to legally enforce a new or modified restriction on traffic, either on its own or as part of an improvement scheme, for example:

  • Speed limits
  • On-street parking
  • Weight limits
  • One-way streets
