An updated data set that is organised and consistent across the business will form the basis of the system going forward.

It is currently planned to extend the capability of the new system to potentially include other business activities and datasets, such as our Asset Condition database and Asset Risk database to create a more comprehensive information management system.

Although the scope will cover the current 13 Magnox sites, it will need to be flexible enough to be rolled out across other sites as they join the business.

Section six. Complementary information

six.3) Additional information

Magnox is considering its strategy for the procurement of the service, and this call for market engagement provides both an opportunity for the supply chain to find out more about Magnox's requirements and for Magnox to learn more about the supply chain and its skills and experience to deliver on these requirements.

Magnox is currently considering a two lot strategy as detailed in the attached document. This will be considered further following market engagement and a decision made prior to issue of the Contract Notice.

The market engagement slide pack is available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge. If you have not accessed the Atamis portal before, you will need to register. This can be done online at https://one-nda.force.com/s/Welcome by following the link ‘Register here’.

Attendance at the supply chain engagement webinar is not a pre-requisite for being able to submit a tender against any subsequent procurements in relation to this preliminary market engagement. If you are unable to attend the preliminary market engagement webinar, the information pack, along with slides and Q&A will be made available. To facilitate further supply chain engagement Magnox will also share a list of all those companies that attended the webinar after the event.

Please note that this Notice and the preliminary market engagement webinar are in advance of the main competition Contract Notice when the ITT documentation will be made available. There are no ITT documents available with this PIN and suppliers do not need to complete a Selection Questionnaire. Magnox is however looking for feedback from potential suppliers and it invites you to respond to some key questions that will help inform the development of the sourcing strategy and any subsequent tender documentation. These key questions are available on Atamis (access as detailed above) and suppliers are to submit their responses to the questions via Atamis. This will ensure that the requirements are effectively met and delivered in a strategy that meets market capabilities and requirements. It also provides procurement awareness for suppliers regarding these requirements. Any information gathered through this market consultation exercise may inform internal business planning and any possible subsequent procurement process and will NOT be appraised in any future tender evaluation exercise. Interested parties who choose to participate in the preliminary market consultation do so at their own cost and expense. Magnox shall not be liable for any such costs or expenses under any circumstances.
