About this event

If you identify as a woman (non-binary and trans women included) and still struggling with the impact that an historical abusive relationship currently has on your wellbeing, please do come along to our monthly support group.

This will be an informal but supportive and confidential space where you will have the opportunity to meet other survivors and together initiate your journey towards healing.

We are aware that domestic abuse can cause long lasting impact on someone’s wellbeing making recovery particularly difficult, especially if unsupported. Due to the effect of trauma, co-occurring vulnerabilities and lack of support post crisis, survivors face major difficulties in rebuilding their lives, recognising their strengths and undergoing the healing process.

SASH hope that through attending the group the participants will have the opportunity to validate their experience, support one another, gain tools to rebuild their strengths and improve their wellbeing enabling that shift that see them going from survivors to thrivers.

The group will be held monthly, the second Friday of each month between 12-1.30pm and will be on line. The group is open to the residents of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster Boroughs only. There is no age restriction, however we would ask you to have completed a counselling journey. If you haven’t, get in touch as you may be referred into our service for counselling support.

Please note, the group is open to individuals who are not in crisis and not in a currently abusive relationship.
