Frequently asked questions

Is this training suitable for my role/job, or where I am based geographically?

The day is suitable for any health professional who works with people experiencing breathlessness. The afternoon workshops allow opportunity to discuss queries relating to individuals' practice. If you are based outside the UK, please take the time zone differences into account before booking.

Can I reserve a place on the study day?

Unfortunately not. Your payment reserves your place. We do not offer reservations so that everyone has a fair chance of booking a study day place.

Can I be invoiced for the study day and my institution pay for my place this way?

Unfortunately, we are unable to invoice, as our Eventbrite process does not allow for this.

I need an invoice to reclaim my fee from my workplace. How can I secure my place on the study day?

When you book and pay for your place your booking confirmation acts as your receipt, so your Institution may accept this for reimbursement. Please check with your workplace before booking.

I cannot fund the payment myself and my work cannot pay without an invoice, what should I do?

Most Institutions who have a finance or accounts department will have someone at departmental or divisional level who will be a credit card holder. Check if they can pay for your place this way, but please make sure that they provide us with your name and email address as the delegate.

I booked my study day place some time ago, but have not heard from you. What should I do?

Please check your spam folder for a confirmation. If you have not received an email confirmation, please check with whoever booked that the email address registered with Eventbrite is correct. If any change is required, use the Eventbrite link to email us.

I have not received an email with the link for the webinar.

We will email you between 7 and 3 days before the study day to provide you with login details for the day, and will send out any hyperlinks to any reading materials required.

I booked a study day place but now cannot attend. What should I do?

Please email us through Eventbrite as soon as you can so that a refund can be arranged. Please note that Eventbrite takes 8% of the ticket fee, so your refund will be minus this. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations less than 7 days of the study day date.

Can I book several places on the study day at any one time?

Yes, however, it is the responsibility of the person booking to provide us with the name and email address of each delegate at the time of booking, to ensure the delegate receives information and login details. This also applies to places that are booked through central procurement departments.

The email used to book is different from my current email. How do I change the email address?.

Please note that your login details etc. will be sent to your booking email address. If you have changed your email address, you can amend this on your Eventbrite profile, or email us through Eventbrite.

I need to use a different email than the booking email on the day. What should I do?

Please get in touch with us at cuh.breathbis@nhs.net as soon as you can so that we can add your alternative email address. Please note that if we do not have correct email details for you on the day, this could delay your entry to the study day.

I have changed institution since I booked my study day place. What should I do?

Please provide us with an updated email address ASAP by emailing us at cuh.breathbis@nhs.net in order to receive your login details. It is your responsibility to provide us with up-to-date contact details.
