MHFA England recommends that qualified Mental Health First Aiders and Champions attend a refresher course every three years. This is the keep mental health support knowledge fresh and confidence in supporting others through mental health problems high. This will make sure all Mental Health First Aiders are better equipped to deal with difficult situations that may arise in the workplace.
This will be a half day course, taking place face to face at 3 Piccadilly Place in Manchester. Please ensure when signing up that you are able to commit to attendance and have approval from your line manager.
Existing NHS GM Wellbeing Champions are being given priority for places on the course. If the course is full, you will be added to a waiting list.
