About this event

www.Kooth.com (for children and young people) and www.Qwell.io (for adults) are free, online emotional wellbeing and mental health support services, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Both services are available 365 days a year, and provide safe and anonymous access to same-day professional support and moderated peer support.

In honour and celebration of Pride Month, we are offering some free Zoom information sessions around how our services can help you and the people you may support, particularly those who identify as LGBTQIA+.

This session is for professionals who work to support young people and/or adults, and want to know more about Kooth and Qwell as part of the digital mental health offer in North East and Yorkshire.

What you will learn from the session:

- how we can work alongside you and the support you provide

- how you can signpost to our services without the requirement of meeting criteria, thresholds or join waiting lists

- how each support feature on the websites work, including online counselling

- how adults and young people benefit from the service

- how we safeguard at risk adults and young people

- how Kooth and Qwell supports LGBTQIA identities including case studies and service user feedback

- how we navigate the barriers LGBTQIA+ and other marginalised groups experience accessing healthcare

We will give a live demo of the websites, explore case studies of real users, and answer any questions.

Please be aware you have registered through Eventbrite and they have their own privacy policy. We, at Kooth Digital Health, do not pass on your personal data that we have collected through your registration. Your information will be used to send future Kooth correspondence.
