You are invited to take part in this half day interactive training course with other professionals from the Grimsby area.
As a complement to your continuing professional development, the workshop will provide a space for reflection on your current practice and an opportunity to learn more about how father-inclusive approaches can support fathers and contribute to better family outcomes.
The training is completely free and aimed at any professionals working with families in Grimsby. It will give you the chance to:
- Understand the unconscious biases around working with mothers and fathers
- Build knowledge of the latest research around fatherhood
- Reflect on how you and your service works with dads
- Identify changes that you can make in your day-to-day work to promote father-inclusion
This is part of the work of the Grimsby Dads Collective and Following Young Fathers Further - a partnership between University of Lincoln, Together for Childhood, Coram Family and Childcare and YMCA Humber, funded by UK Research and Innovation.
The trainers for this event will be Krishnen Sawmynaden, Ryan Jewitt and Scott Bloomer.
