I would like to introduce Walkie Dogs. Walkie Dogs is a community based organisation which aims to better its members and the community, with the aid of our canine friends. We are launching summer 2024 with 74 walks across 74 cities, which will meet up every Sunday. The walks will all be based in local parks and other outdoor locations. Read more

We need your local expertise, connections and personal experience of smell and taste disorders to help us ensure that no one feels alone living with a smell or taste condition. Read more

Work with older people to offer them personalised support to overcome the barriers they are facing to getting online and to improve their digital skills and confidence, Ultimately improving their quality of life. We're actively recruiting volunteers in Birmingham to become mentors, committing one hour per week for a minimum of six months to provide educational support in subjects like English GCSE, ESOL, and Maths in supporting young refugees and asylum seekers (age 14 - 25) in their education. Read more

Birmingham Adult Education Service (BAES) is looking for Volunteer Learning Support Assistants to support our adult learners in various community learning settings including: Virtual Classrooms, Blended Learning (Virtual & On-site), and On-site classrooms located at our adult learning centres, as well as outreach centres across the city. As an activity group coordinator, you’ll plan, organise and schedule monthly activity groups in your local area. This is an administrative role that requires communicating and socialising with older people and volunteers from all walks of life. The activity group will be at the same community venue and will include older people, activity group leads, drivers, and the activity group coordinator.
