Health and safety officials investigate the tragic death of a five-year-old girl following an incident at a children’s playground. The local council becomes the focus of the investigation when it emerges that there has been no safety inspection at the playground for nearly two years.
Meanwhile, trading standards investigators are on the trail of a door-to-door fish seller who has been ripping off customers and netting himself more than £100,000. And in west London, they pay an unannounced visit to a trader suspected of selling substandard goods, including hand sanitisers and face masks.
