Daphne Jackson Trust Fellowships

Alzheimer’s Society are proud to be partnering with Daphne Jackson Trust to sponsor a three-year fellowship for dementia researchers wanting to return to research.

Award 

The Daphne Jackson Trust and Alzheimer's Society partnership offers flexible, part-time research and retraining fellowships.

These unique fellowships will provide applicants with the confidence and skills needed to conduct research in the dementia field.

Mentoring, retraining, and reintroduction to research are all key components to these fellowship opportunities. 

Eligibility 

Alzheimer’s Society sponsored Daphne Jackson Fellowships are available for any researcher who:  

  • Has had a career break of two or more years due to family, caring, or health reasons 
  • Has at least three-years research experience and/or a PhD 
  • Wishes to return to a research-based career in the dementia field 
  • Will work within a UK university or research institution. 

All costs must be justified.  

Remit  

Alzheimer’s Society funds cutting-edge research into dementia. Applications are accepted for research projects addressing key unanswered questions within the dementia field.  

Applicants should consider how their project can contribute to Alzheimer’s Society’s strategy and research mission.
