Virtually meet peers from across the country to exchange ideas, issues, challenges and experiences.

These events will be run as a Zoom meeting with cameras and microphones on. They are not recorded.

An opportunity for leaders to go beyond productivity hacks and discover mindset, personal wellbeing and personal work strategies to help raise motivation when it dips.

Monday 3 June, 14:00 – 15:30

Join us for a membership round table to explore the priorities, ambitions and activities you would most like to see captured in our thinking.

Tuesday 4 June, 11:00 – 12:00

This event will provide members who may be considering an interim position as a future career option some of the practicalities entailed that you may not have previously considered. It may also be useful for leaders anticipating the need to create a brief for an interim replacement in the future.

Wednesday 5 June, 14:00 – 15:15

An opportunity for CEOs and leaders who have been in their roles less than a year, to connect and learn from one another in an informal setting. The gathering will feature a guest CEO reflecting on their experiences of being a new CEO, breakout discussions and a time to reflect with the wider group.

An opportunity to hear from Baroness Shaista Gohir OBE, founder of Nisa Global Foundation and CEO of Muslim Women’s Network UK about the highs and lows of her leadership journey and to connect with other women senior leaders from many different organisations across the sector.

Learn more about the workings of the Commission’s whistleblowing service, its purpose, accessibility, and effective utilization. You’ll also have the chance to pose questions to Christopher Sladen, head of proactive regulation at the Charity Commission, to gain clarity on this vital resource.

Thanks to a movement led by inspiring leaders with lived experience over many years, charity leaders are increasingly focused on making sure lived experience is influencing what their charity does, how it does it and what benefit this brings for service users and employees alike. Join us to hear NPC’s senior consultant Naomi Chapman outline the findings of their recent Centring Lived Experience report and discuss what this means for civil society leaders and their organisations.

Join us as we offer leaders the chance to pause and check in on how they are feeling, review and note whether things are particularly challenging, and reflect upon whether any changes need to take place. 

Wednesday 18 September, 14:00 – 15:00

This session will provide an understanding of the initial pilot phase of The Well Placed work, including the experiences of Age UK and how they benefitted from a fresh perspective on recruitment. Attendees will also learn more about opportunities to join future cohorts of the programme. 

Thursday 26 September, 11:00 – 12:00

Elizabeth Anderson, CEO of Digital Poverty Alliance will explore how your organisation can begin to take action, raise awareness and provide support for those who are excluded through affordability, lack of skills or concerns about online safety and trust.
