ABTT announces jam packed programme of online seminars over 9th-10th June 2021!

19 May 2021

Following on from its online debut in June 2020, the ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians), the membership organisation setting standards in technical excellence, safety and compliance for theatre and live performance, will once again be celebrating the usual dates of our annual ABTT Theatre Show with the “ABTT Theatre Show Online”.

A programme of free online content from Wednesday 9th to Thursday 10th June, these seminars are designed to provide industry professionals with the latest information on a variety of topics while enabling some of the conversation and discussions that take place when theatre people come together.

“The ABTT and PLASA are collaborating in September to bring the 2021 editions of both the ABTT Theatre Show and the PLASA Show under one roof. However, we could not let the usual ABTT Theatre Show dates go past without recognition. As such, we hope to enable some of the conversations and discussions that take place when theatre people come together by inviting you to a programme of online seminars running over Wednesday 9th – Thursday 10th June 2021.” Robin Townley, ABTT CEO

Across the two days, this jam packed series of events will be covering topics including ‘Sustainable Productions and Sustainable Buildings’, ‘Re-imagined Futures – Envisaging a Universally Accessible Arts Centre’, ‘Health and Safety when back at work’ , ‘School Theatre Support Group’, ‘AutoCAD for Performance & Vectorworks’ and many more!

ABTT Theatre Show Online 2021 will run from 9th-10th June. All industry professionals and students are now invited to register for sessions throughout the free two-day programme.
