Sleep Out with Nugent

Sleep Out with Nugent 2024

Join Us for Sleep Out with Nugent 2024, sponsored by Krol Corlett Construction, at the iconic Merseyside Maritime Museum in the Albert Docks.

On Tuesday 16th April 2024, we invite you to make a difference! Experience just a fraction of the challenges faced by those suffering from homelessness as you give up your bed for the night.

Nugent is working with event sponsor Krol Corlett to help raise funds to alleviate homelessness across the North West.

Liverpool is in the midst of a homelessness and housing crisis. Rough sleeper numbers have surged in the last year, leaving hundreds on the brink of homelessness. Many are stuck in temporary accommodation, with limited housing options available.

We’re on a mission to support those who need our help. By participating in Sleep Out with Nugent, you can make a direct impact. Join us in raising funds to help tackle this crisis head-on.

Venue

This year the Sleep Out will be held at the iconic Merseyside Maritime Museum in the Royal Albert Docks.

You can see the fantastic support received at last year’s event in the video above.

Celebrating its 177th anniversary, the Albert Docks is a fitting venue for our event this year. Our Founder, Father James Nugent helped many impoverished people emigrate to a better life from these very docks many years ago- serving as a reminder that over 140 years on, so many people across Merseyside require our help. Those taking part will be sleeping outside on the collonades beside the Maritime Museum with the chilly sea winds sure to make this event even more challenging.
