The Volunteer Passport is a service making volunteer sharing across Northamptonshire easier. It aims to help more people to get involved in volunteering. The Volunteer Passport will allow volunteers to set up a profile, complete mandatory training, upload certification, and other required documentation forming a ‘Passport’. This can then be used to apply and book volunteering sessions across the county and help volunteers to support their local community.
Service Providers can also recruit and support their volunteers through the Volunteer Passport.

Volunteer to Career
Volunteer to Career with NHFT offers support to volunteers wanting to move into NHS work. This includes the Prepare to Care training programme to become a Health Care Support Worker and other opportunities. Everyone is different so we provide one-to-one support to meet personal goals.

Volunteer to Student
University of Northampton students can access volunteering roles through the Volunteer Passport, which allows volunteering hours to be logged once sessions have been completed to go towards student volunteering modules. As part of signing up to the platform students will have the option to complete the National Volunteering Certificate. The Volunteer Passport provides a platform for Service Providers to recruit and support their volunteers in Northamptonshire. To register please complete the application form and sign the data sharing agreement to gain access to the central database of volunteers.
