PAFTA Nominations 2023

The PAFTAs recognise the very best in paediatric training in the UK. Each year the RCPCH invite nominations from deaneries for junior trainees, senior trainees and educational supervisors.
 
We would like to champion the North West as a training region and need your help to do it. Please submit your nominations for Best Junior Trainee (ST 1-3), Best Senior Trainee (ST 4-8) and Best Educational Supervisor. There is also a local award for Best Training Centre. The more detail to your nomination you can give, the better as this will help us make a strong case for that person to win the National Award, so please try to address each point within your nomination.
 
For reference, the RCPCH values are:
  • Innovate – Approach things creatively, embrace risk, view change as an opportunity, have an open mind to new ideas
  • Influence – Advocate for better child health, challenge positively, share best practice, work proactively
  • Include – Embrace diversity, ask for the voices of ICYP, work together, value everyone's input
  • Lead – Develop self and others, act as positive role models, act with integrity and honesty, encourage, praise and thanks
1.Best Junior Trainee (ST 1-3)

a) Demonstrates excellence in the fulfilment of their work in paediatrics
b) Demonstrates exemplary team working and support to peers
c) Demonstrates excellence in their interaction with patients and their families

3.Best Senior Trainee (ST 4-8)
