Excellent Customer Experience

Having been with Hagerty for some years now and owning a classic Ford, I needed to alter my insurance policy. Spoke with Tom, who was knowledgeable, efficient and most helpful. He re arranged my requirements over the phone in minutes.
Very happy with the service.

RAC Breakdown

Apart from 1 thing i would have given you 5 stars. I do not like having to pay for RAC cover, the cost of this is obviously built into the premium, as myself & very close friends having what can only be described as diabolical
service from the RAC and the fact that I have AA cover on my other vehicles which covers any vehicle so I am paying twice, so why not make it optional

'Our RAC cover is included as an unbreakable bundle within all policies we provide where applicable (ie, policies with road mileage applied to vehicles and vehicles not over the size/weight limit for our breakdown cover). We include the RAC breakdown cover within our premium as we wish to offer our customers a policy with a high level of features and benefits built in, at a much reduced cost than would be the case if they were sold as optional extras, rather than our customers having to 'tick a box' and pay extra for benefits such as this.

Sorry to hear you've had poor service from the RAC, please do let us know if at any time during the future you feel you've received poor service from them when using our included cover'.

I have been with Hagerty uk for few…

I have been with Hagerty uk for few years I found them to be very helpful and honest and last year I had an accident and found their procedure to be simple and quick from day one when I made a claim until my car was repaired I was very impressed.

I was a bit disappointed when I insured…

I was a bit disappointed when I insured my Bentley as I made a mistake with value of the car , when I emailed back you wanted another £40.00. Which I thought was rather expensive!

I find them a great company to deal…

I find them a great company to deal with, very easy to talk to someone whenever i’ve needed to. No call centre in the middle of no where, but a real person that understands, I’ve alway been very happy and don’t feel the need to go anywhere else.

Gave you 4 stars rather than 5 as my premium increased over previous year even though I had reduced the number of bikes on the policy by one.

Brilliant, affordable, specialist service.

I’ve been with Hagerty for many years now. I can barely afford to keep the car going but the care, understanding and very reasonable premiums from Hagerty mean I don’t have enough of an excuse to get rid of her. Thank the lord.

Excellent service.

Excellent service.
Had a problem with payment on the web site. Ended up taking two payments. When I noticed a quick email on a Sunday and it was sorted by 10am on Monday.

Huge increase over last year's premium

I'm disappointed that the significant cost increases have gravitated to classic cars which resulted in a 35% increase for my 2 vehicles which travelled a total mileage of 750 miles (2k agreed mileage for each).
Comparison with competitors was more expensive but after a bit of adjustments on cover, mileage we agreed satisfactory premium & cover

Great Insurance for Classic Car Owners

Very reasonable prices for classic car insurance with Agreed Valuation available too - essential for protecting your cherished motor should the worst happen. Excellent communication, emailed twice with queries and got friendly replies very quickly same day.

Your new telephone system is terrible

Your new telephone system is terrible - on avaerage I've been on hold for 30+ minutes every time. Your new IT system has snags - I had a figure on my renewal I didn't recognise from last year so I queried it (once I could get through) and my renewal dropped by £49 overnight!!!! The agreed value is great, the people are great - your systems need a good looking at!!!
