Global Education Matters

Firstly we need to apologise for the poor sound quality of this podcast as it was recorded online via a pretty poor internet connection in a very busy school. Our guest was so interesting we didn't want to mess with the recording (or record again) as it accurately captures the life and experiences of those posted to Brunei. The key point is that Brunei is a fascinating country with a lot to offer Service families particularly education. This episode looks at the experience of a Deputy headteacher (now a head in the UK) who lived and worked in Brunei both as an educator in the MOD Primary school and as someone who sent their children to school in Brunei.

Andrew and Ed explore the US education systems and share their observations of schooling and life in the US. This episode seeks to provide Service families with the key similarities and differences between education in the UK and in the US. Listeners should note that the content of discussion in this episode does not necessarily constitute MOD policy and parents should therefore always seek official guidance through CEAS, their chain of command and through review of the relevant Joint Service Policies.
