Open Doors: Pathways to the Creative Industries 2019

We would like invite those interested in careers within the creative screen industries to be part of this fantastic opportunity kicking off the UK's national Discover Creative Careers Week.

Date: Saturday 16th November

Come and explore careers, jobs and renowned companies on the world famous Pinewood Studios lot. Meet training providers, employers, award-winning talent and make an informed decision about your next steps.

The day will involve businesses on-site at Pinewood opening their doors, running programmes of demonstrations and will be as visual and interactive as possible.

There will be a programme of panels and Q&A's with industry professionals in the John Barry Theatre. These will be held in three sessions, and repeated at all three sessions. But all companies will be available all day.

Q&A’s or talks are first come first served at each session.

Companies confirmed to attend so far include Pinewood Studios Group, Sony, Creative Media Skills, Netflix, Resource Productions and CTV Outside Broadcasting.

The day will be split in to 3 sessions, each session repeating itself. Included in each session will be a Q&A with representatives from Film and TV Charity, BETCU, Creative Media Skills and Screen Skills and a talk by Matt Gallagher from The Call Sheet.

This is not a recruitment fair; this is an opportunity for guests to talk to various creative companies about the variety of roles available in the sector, in addition to meeting training providers who are supporting the need to fill skills gaps within the screen industries.

Registration

Please register for your free tickets as soon as possible. This is a unique event and we are expecting it to be very popular.

Due to the demand for tickets, we have allocated 2 hours for each session to allow entry to as many guests as possible. Please stick to your alloted slot to allow others from other sessions to gain entry. All guests will be given security bands relating to their chosen slot colour.

If you are allocated tickets, but cannot attend; please return your tickets via this site to release your tickets.

Anybody without a ticket will not be admitted on site.
