The aim of this course is to understand and explore what a trauma informed approach looks like and reflect on your practice.

Outcomes
- Increase understanding about the impact of trauma on the children and family we work with.
- Consider what happens to the brain when we experience traumatic events.
- Consider how trauma responses are based on past traumatic experiences.
- Re-frame thinking about human response, challenging your view about ‘difficult behaviours’.
- To enable you to view your work through a trauma lens.
- To be introduced to what the components are of a Trauma Informed Organisation.
- Signposting to practical toolkits & Self-Care.
