At today's Creative Equals RISE conference, the Head of the Unstereotype Alliance, Sara Denby, called on the advertising industry to redress masculinities, to impact brands and help drive positive social change. How do we stand up to stereotypes? Knowing what to say to challenge a stereotype can be difficult. Swipe for 3️⃣ simple steps to speaking out and standing up to stereotypes. 🛑 STOP what you're doing and take a breath. Pause before making an active choice of what to do next. 👀 SEE if the situation seems safe enough to challenge the stereotype user 🗣 SUGGEST what could be said in place of the stereotype.
