Yesterday, UKAEG and Front Foot members convened at the House of Commons for a roundtable titled 'Shaping the Future of UK Advertising.' While the event was under Chatham House rules, UK Advertising leaders delivered a State of the Nation address on advertising and consumer behaviour in 2024, a crucial election year. We discussed how UK Advertising is growing brands globally exporting £15.6B worth of services, we champion the entrepreneurial spirit of the UK through our work, and underscored the pivotal role of the advertising industry in driving the UK economy. UK Leaders in attendance were Joel Mishcon, Aisling Conlon, Thomas Walters, James Denton-Clark, Anjali Ramachandran, Stephen Woodford, Polly McMorrow, Julian Douglas, Karin Seymour, Lisa Hayley-Jones, and the Rt Hon Dame Maria Miller. Thanks to the Policy and Government affairs team Chris Walker, Will Lane and Vanesa Cernamorit, plus Quianna Maw from UK Advertising, and Sharon Lloyd Barnes.
