SXSW 2023
F*ck Conversation: It’s Time to ACT on Climate
Description:
The advertising industry is talking about the climate crisis, but who is actually DOING something? Record-breaking heat waves are spurring urgency and consumers are clamoring for sustainability – the brands that cannot adapt will become irrelevant. Two years ago, the UK ad community stepped up to start fixing this global problem, effectively becoming a petri dish for responsible innovation that has helped drive significant strides in tackling the climate crisis. This session will show, not tell, how competing forces (activists, lobbyists, press, founders, corporates etc.) came together to drive real change, reflect on the hard-won lessons to drive change and show how the rest of the global industry can act immediately to catch-up.
