Is a buzzword enough of a reason to rethink every creative idea? Why does every ‘new and exciting’ or ‘tech first’ brief default to the latest fad? We had it with Second Life, AR, NFTs and now the Metaverse. It’s lazy… and boring. Shouldn’t technology be invisible to the idea and not the idea itself? Why can't we just deal with the real (emotions, connections and interactions) in our REAL WORLD - rather than trying to virtualise every-single-fucking-human-connection?
