October was once again, a busy month with numerous activities taking place, and significant developments being made on my new Police and Crime Plan in particular.
Earlier this year I launched a public consultation asking for residents and business’ views on policing priorities for the new Police and Crime Plan. Having considered all the responses we received, I have been working closely with staff from my Office over recent months to develop the new Police and Crime Plan for 2021-2025. A copy of the draft is available to view on my website here, and I am consulting again with the public, encouraging residents and business to provide feedback via a survey.
Police funding is also part of this consultation, as I look to establish the budget for local policing for the 2022/2023 financial year while I await the Government’s Police Grant settlement.
I am urging the communities of the Dyfed-Powys area to voice your opinions to ensure that Dyfed-Powys Police can continue to safeguard its communities with the highest standard of service available.

Diolch - Thank you,
Dafydd Llywelyn
