Cost of Entry: FREE (Ross On Wye Angling Club Members Only)

How It Works: All entrants will be given a catch return sheet a fish measure and a competitor’s card and after registering will be free to head off and fish any of the club stretches with the aim the biggest chub and barbel they can. All entrants must carry an unhooking mat and photograph their biggest fish on the mat with the fish measure and their competitors card in the photo. The fish must be flat and the nose of the fish should be touching the stop at the end of the measure. Each time you catch an "ugrade" chub or barbel it's length should be written on the catch return sheet. All competitors should cease fishing at 6.00pm and hand their competitors card and catch return to the organiser by 6.30 pm at the latest in the White Lion Pub. Please make sure you enter the length of the biggest chub and barbel you have caught at the bottom of the catch return. Competitors who are in contention for first place will be asked to show the organiser the photos of their catch to confirm their validity. Please use a smart phone for the photos or a camera that allows the photos taken to be viewed.

Competitors are then encouraged to mix, chat, tell tall tales of fish lost and have a drink once all the results are in we will announce the winners and give out prizes.
