Learning for everyday life: Get started with email
The intent of this workshop is to increase your confidence in communicating online through email.
Updates in technology mean that we can send and receive emails on a range of devices with a few clicks, meaning it's never been more convenient. In this introductory workshop, you'll discover how to send and respond to emails, get tips for organising your inbox, as well as learning about keeping safe whilst communicating online.

By the end of the course you should be able to:
- Respond to an email you have received
- Compose and send an email
- Delete an email
- Identify signs of a suspicious email.

Your tutor will monitor your progress through observation, tasks and activities and will provide you with feedback to support you.

You will need to have some basic computer skills, such as being able to use a mouse and keyboard before starting this course.
