Freedom of Information Request - Hindu discrimination, hate and safeguarding
Thank you for accessing this request.

We are seeking to understand the current state of the Hindu community in the UK, and in particular its safety and how this can be ensured. The information collected through this survey will help us inform Hindus of safeguarding measures already in place, how to access them and how to report incidents of hatred and discrimination. It will also enable us to establish existing best practice and put together guidance to be shared with institutions such as yours to ensure the Hindu community is properly supported.

This survey and the resulting report is being led by the Vichaar Manthan team; Vichaar Manthan is a non-profit public discussion platform based in the UK, with the stated mission to host in-depth public discussions that lead to new ideas on challenges facing society, grounded in a sustainable Dharmic lens.

To assure you, no personal identifiers such as name and address will be included in the report or shared elsewhere. All data will be stored securely by the organisation for a 12-month period, after which it will be deleted.

For further details on Vichaar Manthan's Privacy Policy, please visit www.vichaarmanthan.org/privacy-policy.
