Walk of Faith participation - Central London

We are so thrilled to have you join us on Friday 3rd June for our Jubilee Walk of Faith in London.

As part of the Jubilee celebrations and Thank You Day 2022 we want to thank Her Majesty The Queen for her seventy years of service and thank each other for the service we provide to our communities.

The walk will start in multiple locations, weaving its way across the Capital to Westminster Abbey, where we will enjoy a short reception and a Big Jubilee Lunch (edenprojectcommunities.com/the-big-jubilee-lunch). Along the route we will be passing by different places of worship and there will be some opportunities for short comfort breaks when needed.

We want to make this event as inclusive as possible, so if you cannot walk the whole route please do what you can and use public transport as necessary. We have a few different routes so please join where is convenient for you, and ensure you walk the last part with us to Westminster Abbey where we will be formally greeted.

Please complete this form with as much information as you can to help us plan our walk. The information you provide will be treated sensitively and not shared to anyone beyond our small team who are making this happen.

Please note - it is important that everybody taking park in the walk has been registered via this form in some way. The reception at Westminster Abbey is limited to a maximum of 200 people and we do not want to have to turn walkers away on the day. It is fine to register on behalf of somebody else if they cannot access the form. Group registrations are also possible, i.e. 'We will be bringing six people from X place of worship'.

Do you have any dietary requirements that we need to be aware of for the Jubilee Lunch at Westminster Abbey?

We will need volunteers to act as marshals for the walk. This is a simple task, requiring individuals in high-vis vests to walk alongside the main walk and keep an eye out for cars etc. Full instructions will be provided to marshals well in advance. If you or your community can offer some assistance, please say so below and indicate whether you have any additional skills, such as, first aid training, different languages spoken etc.
