On Sunday 12th May 2024, over 750 young people will be coming to Sevenoaks School to take part in the most exciting sporting event of the calendar year, and they need your support!

Schools Triathlon
The Schools Triathlon is the UK’s largest sports fundraising event for children aged between 7-13 years old.
Last year, the Sevenoaks event alone raised over £95,000 for Restless Development and 100s of different charities chosen by participating schools.

As part of a team, children of all abilities are invited to take on the challenge of swimming, cycling and running completing the triathlon in a relay format. It's a fun filled day with young people coming together to achieve something great.  

Volunteering
The Schools Triathlon wouldn’t be possible without the support from our incredible volunteers who make sure every young triathlete taking part can enjoy their day in a safe environment. 

It is a day of pure fun. An atmosphere that is elevated by energetic teams of young triathletes completing their laps, cheering crowds spurring them on from start to finish. Anyone can volunteer to help on the day so don't worry if you don't have any experience in events. We'd love for you to join Team Restless. 

Roles include
  • Meet and Greet at the registration stand, welcome budding triathletes and their families
  • Swimming pool, support triathletes on their first sport of the day
  • Bike Pen or Bike Transition, chat to all the excitable teams and help them with their bikes
  • Bike or Run Course, steward triathletes along the course and brief them when they arrive
  • Finish line - hand out medals and congratulate triathletes on their achievements
  • Car Parking, welcome them and wave them off, ensuring they are safe at all time.

  • Student volunteers can also request a letter of recommendation from us which can support you with further education applications.
